Choose a region close to your players

Ping rises with distance. Host from a machine in Mexico or nearby. If you use SquidServers, start free and test how it feels with two or three friends. Ask about ping during flying, combat and teleporting.

Improve routing through the dashboard

If your group is far from the default route, switch to a closer region. Open the SquidServers dashboard, choose Manage Tunnels, click the computer icon in the top right, and set up a premium routing region near your players. You can preview expected ping at ping.playit.gg.

Keep the local machine fast

Close heavy apps while you host. Use wired Ethernet if you can. Give the server enough RAM and keep view and simulation distance sensible during big events. Tidy up farms and avoid leaving thousands of items on the ground.

Test, adjust, then lock settings

Make one change at a time and run a ten minute play test. When everything feels smooth, write down your RAM, distances and chosen region. This becomes your baseline for future seasons in Mexico.
